Pues sí, la misma Nells que viste y calza gasta ahora maneras rockistas para una parroquia de indies, modernos y pijos que se desmelenan al ritmo de macarrazas contrastados como AC/DC o Ramones.
De tablao flamenco en los 80, pasó en los 90 a ser el epicentro de la noche más exclusiva de la capital. Pero a principios de esta época empezó a decaer… Hasta que volvió a resucitar como Nells, esta vez, a guitarrazo limpio. "Somos la oveja negra de los locales pijos de Madrid", comenta con orgullo Fernando Ojeda, socio y director del lugar desde 2007. "Aquí el filtro no se hace en la puerta con las zapatillas o las pintas, sino con la música… No ponemos garrafón ni en la barra ni en la cabina , ¿eh?" apunta a su vez Ojeda.
El menú no admite peros: Franz Ferdinand, Ramones, Pixies, The Ting Tings, The Killers, The Strokes, Nirvana, Oasis o Blur, y a última hora electrónica.
